Aniway, im still contemplating abt bringing the kids here. Coz i have a family wedding to attend from 5-6 June and 7 June might be spent celebrating Mak's advance bday. Thus im left with 4 June. So most likely i might book 3 tix (looking for best seating available) for 4 June 7.30pm show since coincidentally its hubby's off day. On another note, im hoping that i can go for a movie date with the hubby this malam jumaat to catch "Jangan Tegur". Provided someone is willing to babysit the kids lor. Hehe...

Nasi Ayam Penyet

Yesterday, mom wanted to have nasi ayam penyet for dinner. Since my bro was on the way home, mom called him to buy 2pkts of nasi ayam penyet, preferably from a stall at Hougang Plaza. We love the nasi ayam penyet there. Its very nice and definitely value for money at its cost of 4bux.

Unfortunately when mom called my bro, he was already in the sengkang vicinity and thus mom asked him to get the nasi ayam penyet from a stall at Rivervale Mall Kopitiam. We never tried the one over there before.

So once my bro reached home, we hungry people without hesitating quickly opened up the packaging and started to eat.BUT then...we felt disappointed and kind off cheated. The rice served was merely plain rice! Usually ayam penyet is served with chicken flavoured rice isnt it? Although the serving was quite a lot, but still disappointing! The fried chicken was so-so. Packed together was a lil bit of lettuce, a piece of tahu and tempe and sambal with roughly blended "tangkai" chilli. I almost thought that the "stick" was a fishbone. LOL. Oh and it costs 4.50bux per packet!

But anyway, we kind of ALMOST finished up the whole packet as we were really famished. Haha.

Oh, my favourite nasi ayam penyet is from a stall at changi village hawker centre. Not from Sri Bistari though...

Food Lover

Im definitely a food lover. I mean who in the world doesnt love food, right? Coz we have to eat in order to live.

Aniway i'd like to share one website which i truly love. Coz its all about food. Its actually a recipe portal. Do check it yeah. Id prefer myresipi.com compared to resepi.mesra.net which i used to frequent.

Ok lah thats all for now, im goin to try making kuih lapis =p

...at times i felt so useless. I wish i can do more. Perhaps better, in life that is. Gosh...im just feeling so emo now. Hah...typical me. So when in times like this, id rather be alone....deep in my thoughts, reflecting on things that i should.

Sigh.

But on a happier note, something exciting is coming up soon. I hope so. Insya Allah, if we're on the lucky side.

Oh yeah, one more thing. Im going to have another nephew/niece(gender unknown as yet) this year. Woohoo. But i have a strong feeling, its going to be another girl! So far 2 nieces have entered this world, another one prolly in June and the unknown gender may appear in July. Cool...

Of Geylang Rojak Food Poisoning And Such...

Im another victim, NOT.

Im having diarrhoea, just a mild one. Must be due to that food that i ate just now. My tummy's churning and my **** felt heaty due to the frequent visits to the toilet. But im not taking any charcoal tabs as yet. YUCKS. I know it will stop soon. Hehe. As long as im not vomitting, im not taking any form of medication.

Aniway, with regards to the Geylang Rojak Food Poisoning case, my condolences to the affected families who have lost their loved ones recently. To the other victims, i hope they are recovering well.

Whatever it is, to me this is all fated and we have to accept it. There's no use to fingerpoint here and there, getting overly angry unnecessarily etc. Like some malays would say..."Ini semua takdir, kehendaknya..." HE knows better. Hopefully i did not offend anyone (victims out there) through this post. I know that its been hard on you guys. But this is LIFE. Take care and move on, yeah?

Is it a case of sabotage? Hygiene concerns? Well, whatever it is, lets look out for more news. The truth will be known soon, insya allah.
